    3. How do I request the birthdates and joining dates directly from team members instead of a bulk import using a spreadsheet?
      Type the RequestDates command in the AnnounceBot chat window -> Click the RequestDates button

      Click the paperclip icon in the AnnounceBot chat window and upload a greeting card image (JPG, JPEG, or PNG) -> Select the occasion and click the Confirm button.

    10. How many custom greeting cards can I upload?
      Each team member can upload up to 4 custom greeting cards for each occasion. All team members can use greeting cards uploaded by the AnnounceBot admin.

    11. How do I send wishes in a direct message and Teams channel?
      By default, wishes get sent in a direct message. To send wishes in Teams channel, type the Settings command in the AnnounceBot chat window -> Select the channel(s) and the checkboxes next to it -> Click the Confirm button.

    12. How do I set the time to send wishes in a direct message or Teams channel?
      Type the Settings command in the AnnounceBot chat window -> Set the time of the day you want to send the wishes (defaults to 8 AM) and click on the Confirm button.

    13. How do I sign a group birthday card in Microsoft Teams?
      Type the Settings command in the AnnounceBot chat window -> Check the sign team card checkbox -> Click the Confirm button.

    14. How do I see reminders and greetings on the workday for the weekend birthday and work anniversary dates?
      Type the Settings command in the AnnounceBot chat window -> check the "Send wishes and reminders on Friday for Sat/Sun dates" checkbox -> Click the Confirm button.

    15. How do I set up custom messages for onboarding new team members?
      Type the Message command in the AnnounceBot chat window -> Select team(s) -> Enter custom messages and click on the Confirm button.


    Troubleshoot


    1. After typing the Help command in the AnnounceBot chat window, it responds, "There seems to be an issue with your response. Could you please try the Help command for my assistance?". How do I proceed?
      The above message indicates that the installation was not successful. In this case, you need to reinstall AnnounceBot.
      Step 1: Navigate to your team -> Manage team -> Apps tab -> Click on the delete icon for AnnounceBot.
      Step 2: Click on the three dots (More added apps) in the toolbar -> Right-click on the AnnounceBot icon and select the Uninstallation option.
      Step 3: Go to Apps -> Search AnnounceBot >> Click the AnnounceBot search result and click Add to a team button.
      Step 4: Select the team name and click the Set up a bot button.
      On successful installation, you should receive a welcome message from AnnounceBot.

    2. How can I delete a message sent to a team by AnnounceBot?
      Already sent messages cannot get deleted as per MS Teams restrictions.

    3. How can I stop welcome messages, wishes, and wish reminders from getting sent?
      Type the Settings command in the AnnounceBot chat window -> Select the Stop checkbox and click on the Confirm button.

      Yes. You get a 30 day trial (No credit card required)

    2. How much does the AnnounceBot premium subscription cost?
      Annual payment: $5.00 user/year
      Monthly payment: $0.50 user/month

    3. How do I purchase AnnounceBot premium subscription after my 30-day trial has ended?
      AnnounceBot is available to purchase in the Microsoft App Store. To purchase our subscription, please follow these steps:
      Step 1: Click here and click the Buy a subscription button.
      Step 2: On the Choose a subscription plan page, select the yearly plan $5.00 user/year and click the Buy button. You will be navigated to the checkout page.
      Step 3: Enter the quantity = Total number of team members and click the update link. You will see the modified subtotal amount.
      Step 4: Add your address by clicking the Enter your sold-to address link.
      Step 5: Click the Add a new payment method link and enter your credit card details.
      Step 6: Click the Place order button.
      Step 7: Wait for Microsoft to process and confirm the successful transaction.
      Step 8: Click the Set up button to activate your subscription.
      Step 9: After this, you will be navigated to the AnnounceBot subscription landing page where you can manage your licenses.

    4. What payment methods are accepted for the AnnounceBot premium subscription?
      We accept Visa, American Express, MasterCard, and Discover.

    5. Do I need to purchase licenses for each team member in my organization?
      No. You only need to purchase a license for each user in your organization for whom you need to use the AnnounceBot features.
